Logistics & Supply Chain Consulting: Move It Cheaper, Faster and On Time
Twenty years on the board, not twenty slides about best practice.
The problem
What this usually looks like
Freight costs keep climbing, deliveries keep slipping, drivers keep quitting and nobody can say what a stop actually costs. Fuel and overtime are treated as fixed costs when most of both is created by how the routes are built and how the day is run.
How I approach it
I audit what is actually happening, lanes, routes, hours, empty miles, carrier rates and the real cost per mile. Then rebuild the operation around numbers instead of habit. Practical changes your dispatchers can execute Monday morning, not a transformation program.
Scope
What I actually do
Audit lane and route profitability, cost per mile, cost per stop and empty-mile percentage.
Rebuild routing and scheduling to cut deadhead miles, fuel burn and driver overtime while protecting delivery windows.
Renegotiate carrier, 3PL and vendor rates with enforced service levels and scorecards.
Fix dispatch operations: run sheets, exception escalation, driver communication and shift coverage.
Review warehouse, yard and last-mile flow for the bottlenecks that create the overtime.
Build the KPI dashboard, on-time percentage, fill rate, utilization, cost per mile, so problems surface before they cost money.
Assess hours-of-service, ELD and safety compliance exposure.

Questions
Straight answers
How big does our fleet need to be to work with you?
Anything from a handful of trucks to a multi-terminal operation. Smaller fleets often see the fastest gains because nobody has ever formally costed the routes.
Do you only work in transportation?
No. Any business that moves goods, crews or equipment on a schedule, construction, field service, distribution, installation, has a dispatch and routing problem worth solving.
Will you actually implement changes or just deliver a report?
Either. Most clients want implementation: I stay on and run the changes with the dispatch team until the new process holds.
