Sales, Logistics & AI Consulting in Montreal

For a European exporter, Montreal is usually the correct first port even when the customer is in Ontario. The transit time advantage over Vancouver is substantial and the rail connection inland is direct. I will tell you honestly that business in Quebec is conducted in French and that I work in English, which shapes where I add value and where you need a French-language partner.

Questions

Straight answers

Should European goods enter through Montreal or Vancouver?

Montreal, in almost every case. It is materially closer to Europe and the rail runs directly into central Canada and the US Midwest. Vancouver is the Asia-Pacific gateway; using it for European freight adds weeks.

Do you operate in French?

No: I work in English, and I will not overstate that. For Quebec-facing customer work you need French capability, and I will say so rather than take an engagement I cannot serve properly. For import coordination, national accounts and English-market expansion out of Montreal, I am a straightforward fit.
