Why run local LLMs instead of an API?
Data residency and cost. If your pipeline touches customer records, sending them to a third-party API creates a disclosure problem you then have to explain to your own customers. Llama.cpp on your own hardware removes the question entirely and the per-token cost goes to zero.
Can you build a sales team for a technical founder?
That is a large share of what I do, hiring the first reps, writing the process the founder has been carrying in their head, and training it so it survives the founder stepping back.
